She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Edward Smith and Grace May Huntington-Smith; her husband Chester McDonald; her son Mark McDonald; her grandson Robbie Kitchen, III; her great grandchild Troy Bishop; and her siblings, Albert, Harry, Ralph, Charles Smith, Evelyn Sanville and Lillie Mae Bowers.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda McDaniel (Ronnie), David McDonald, May Stephens, Sandra Catlett (Tony), Wilma Snow (Timothy Sr.), John (Mic), Annie McDonald (John Bayles) and Matthew (Axel); and her siblings, Catherine Franklin, Vivian Brow and Perry Smith. She is also survived by thirty grandchildren; forty-nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
