He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Junior Barrett and Myrtle Irene Barrett (Smeltzer); his wife Sandra Kay Barrett (Shepherd); and his great grandchild Leah. He is survived by: his children, Bruce W. Barrett, Jr. (Kim) of Martinsburg, Ricky L. Barrett (Kim) of Martinsburg, Christina M. Braithwaite (Scott) of Winchester, Cindy L. Barrett (Joel) of Poncetula, LA, Dawn M. Barney of Martinsburg and Bridgett Garner of Ranson; and his grandchild Twenty. He is also survived by Twenty-four great-grandchildren.
