He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonzie Charles Shade and Catherine Maxine Shade (Triggs); his son Lucas C. Shade; his great grandchild Elam Pire; his brother Kenneth W. Shade; and his pet Jake.
He is survived by: his wife Patsy Leah Lucas Shade; his daughters, Lisa M. Younker, Angela D. Silvers (Dale) and Nicole E. Ruppenthal (Jeffrey); his grandchildren, Sasha Braithwaite, Linzie Nigreville (Tyler), Nadia Pire (Ethan), Noah Miller, Caden Dudash, Christian Dudash, Layni Dudash, Rylee Shade and Ethan Shade; his great grandchildren, Cabram Capps, Jude Nigreville and Ila Pire; and his siblings, Gary L. Shade and Debra K. Kesecker (Steve). He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
