We bid farewell to Charlotte Barnette Trainor of Martinsburg, West Virginia, born in Baltimore, Maryland, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 2, 2025 at the age of 82. Charlotte touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. In the vast expanse of eternity, Charlotte shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Charlotte farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Earl Base and Eleanor Belsky (Van Fleet); and her brothers, Charles Base (Michael Shepperd) and Stephen Barnette. She is survived by: her husband Charles Trainor; her son Robert Barnette; and her siblings, Eleanor Dawn Sears, Carl Base (Terri) and Ella Russell (Robert). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
