It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Leslie Bare of Martinsburg, West Virginia, who passed away on February 21, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Alice E. Bare; his grandparents, Leslie Harrison Bare and Elizabeth Adele Bare (Koogle); his friend Rodney; his children, Brian L. Bare (Robin) of Shanghai, WV, Scott W. Bare (Julie) of Sharpsburg, MD, Kathi J. Draper (Brian) of Fairplay, MD and Elizabeth A. Reedy (Rodney A. Strawderman) of Berkeley Springs, WV; his grandchildren, Donald E. Bare (Kammie), Jessica B. Downey (Ryan), Jeremiah W. Draper (Sara), Colton M. Bare, Ellie K. Bare, Samantha J. Arredondo (Sergio), Jordan E. Angeloro (Anthony) and Allyson K. Strawderman; his great grandchildren, Tyler Bare, Jack Downey, Luke Downey, Emmie Downey, Saylor Draper, Blakelee Draper, Taylor Compton, Ava Compton and Isaiah Arrendondo; his great great grandchild Rylee Bare; his brother Roger Rothenhoefer of Thurmont, MD.; his wife Joyce Elizabeth White Bare; his brothers, James F. Harrison and Robert W. Darby; and his grandson Keese L. Bare.
