He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Brining and Delsie Louise Brining (White); his significant other Phyllis Wiand Brining; his son-in-law Scott Myers; and his brothers, Charles Walter Brining, Kenneth Unger and Richard "Bobby" Unger.
He is survived by: his daughters, Penny Brining Myers, Leslie Rogers (Mark) and Allison Roberts (Same); and his grandchildren, James "Jim" Gano, Emily Merson, Corey Gano, Sammy Roberts, Erin Myers, Brady Lester Roberts, Casie Adams and Andy Roberts. He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Brown Funeral Home (327 W King St, Martinsburg, WV 25401). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
