He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Ethel Eldridge (Phillips) and Michael Bryant, Sr.; his son Derek Bryant; his girlfriend Jasmine Ebersole; his siblings, Michael Bryant, Jr., Erica Reed, Anthony Tyson, Isaiah Tyson, Elijah Tyson, Shante Tyson and Martinsburg; his stepsiblings, Nathaniel Tyson, Anthony Tyson, Jr. and Tiffany Tyson; and his stepfathers, Anthony Tyson, Sr. and Ezrell McNichols.
