He was predeceased by: his parents, Earnie T. Pope and Katherine E. Pope (Winston). He is survived by: his wife Ethel A. Pope (Pridgen) of Martinsburg; his children, Katherine A. Pope of Martinsburg and Steven W. Pope of Bennettsville; and his brother William H. Pope of The Villages, Florida..
