He was predeceased by: his parents, Georgios Lenis and Aglaia Lenis (Didimiotis); and his brother Babis Lenis. He is survived by: his sister Maria Mapn of Piraeus, Greece; his former wives, Estella Lenis (Thomas Christison) and Harpers Ferry; his children, Maria Weaver, Elaine Lenis (Frederick, MD), George Lenis (Hagerstown, MD) and Christina Knepp; and his grandchildren, Akira Lenis, Natalia Weaver, Riana Weaver, Evan Knepp and Stella Knepp.
