It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Floyd Douglas Sims of Martinsburg, West Virginia, who passed away on March 30, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, James Marion Sims and Ada Lee Dunham Sims; his son Floyd, Jr.; his wife Betty; and his son Wayne Ferguson.

He is survived by : his son Ray; his daughter-in-law Vonnie Ferguson; his daughter Carolyn; his son-in-law Mike Russler; his daughter Michelle; and his son-in-law Charlie Hess. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, three sister-in-laws, and four brother-in-laws.
