She was predeceased by : her parents, Martin Luther Davis and Rose Martina Davis (Anderson). She is survived by : her children, Charles "Butch" Yurish (Darlene) of Bridgeport, WV, Anthony "Pete" Yurish (Katrina) of Boonsboro, MD, Joyleen Lam (Steve) of Martinsburg, Karen Hahn (Larry) of Berlin Heights, OH, Rhonda Lockwood (Patrick) of Myrtle Beach, SC, Melanie Canby of Martinsburg and Michael B. Yurish; her siblings, Stewart "Shoetop" Davis, Rose Hollis, Loraine Davis and Burman Davis; her son-in-law Larry W. Canby; and her great grandchild Mason Williams. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of the Panhandle, 330 Hospice Lane Kearneysville, WV 25430; or any charitable organization in her memory.

Margaret Kursey wrote a sympathy message

“To Butch, Pete and the girls and the entire Yurish family; Myself and my entire family's deepest sympathies and prayers on the passing of Miss Frances. she was one heckuva lady always knew where she stood on everything. Having grown up playing ball with Pete and being coached by Butch, I was around the family all the time. Great memories growing up. She lived a long purposeful life. May all of you cherish the precious memories of her and keep them in your heart. Mike Kursey and family.”
