He is survived by: his daughter Maria "KiKi" Karos (John Newby); his wife Moncie Renee Rivera Karos; his grandchildren, Julia and Carson Newby; his son George Karos; his grandchildren, Sedic Martinez of Martinsburg, WV, Makenzie Householder of Martinsburg, WV, Alicia Lovett (Clarke Gordon) of North Carolina and Cassidy Tapp; and his great grandchild Allison Mahr of Asburn, VA..
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions should be made to Hospice of the Eastern Panhandle or the Eastern West Virginia Community Foundation, Karos Family Memorial Fund, established in 2006 for tuition grants to Berkeley County residents who have been accepted by and plan to attend a college or university in West Virginia for pharmacy.
