She is survived by: her husband Melvin R. Dodson, Sr.; her children, Catherine Dodson and Melvin Roger Dodson, Jr.; her brother David A. Davis; and her siblings-in-law, Katie Davis, Anna Mae Keyton, Frances Penwell, Edward Dodson and Esther Dodson. She is also survived by Several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
