He was predeceased by: his father James Stewart Scott Sr.; his siblings, Beverly, Gloria and Michael; his aunt Vallie; and his uncle Watson.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Kable Scott; his children, James Stewart Scott III and Julia Kable Scott Chen (Timmy Staubs); his granddaughters, Lauryn, Tara Scott, Leah and Madison Chen; and his siblings, Sandy Scott Fuss, Peggy, Ted and Danny Scott.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in Scotty's honor to Hospice of the Panhandle, Shepherd University Foundation, or a local Meals on Wheels organization.
