In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy John leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though John may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert Bruce Overington and Helen Besley Overington; and his sisters, Jane Wright (Robert Wright), Betty Knupp (John), Peggy Weller and Mary Rotz (Robert). He was also cherished by many nephews and nieces.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Berkeley County Humane Society, 554 Charlestown Road, Martinsburg, WV 25405, or to the Overington Scholarship Fund for private tuition or homeschool expenses.
