It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joseph William Sullivan of Martinsburg, West Virginia, born in Providence, Rhode Island, who passed away on January 23, 2024, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, James Sullivan and Margaret Sullivan. He is survived by : his wife Kathleen M. Kerns of Martinsburg; his daughters, Rachel Sullivan of Harrisonburg, VA and Emily Rose Sullivan (Adilson Brito) of Brito; his grandchildren, Lily Sulivan, Joseph J. Sullivan, Daniel Sullivan and Liam Sullivan; and his siblings, Ann Marie Gilman (Richard) of California and James P. Sullivan of Rhode Island. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and dear cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Saint Joseph School, where Joe was a beloved substitute teacher, at 110 E. Stephen St., Martinsburg, WV 25401.
