It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kenneth Ray Hess of Martinsburg, West Virginia, who passed away on October 14, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellis Hess and Amelia Foster Hess; and his sister Amelia Shank. He is survived by: his wife Betty Sue Hess; his children, Kenneth R. Hess, Jr. (Ann), Max G. Myers, Jr. (Harley) and Monica G. Cummings (Kevin); his grandchildren, Jessie, Luke, Jackson, Lincoln and Miracle; and his brothers, Ellis "Sonny" Hess of Wardensville, Ronald Hess (Devon) of Moorefield, Curtis Hess (Pat) of Martinsburg and Phillip Hess (Angie) of Moorefield.
