She was predeceased by: her parents, Reverend George Thomas Giles and Marie "Russell" Giles; and her husband Arnulfo Labasbas. She is survived by: her sons, Mark Sawyer, William Flythe, Maximo Labasbas and Andrew Labasbas; her stepson Keith Labasbas; and her grandchildren, Anita Jones, Asia Ward, Ailin Sawyer, Jasmine Sawyer, Kiana Sawyer, Markaya Sawyer, Ahmaya Adams, Cedella Flythe and Reesha Flythe.
