He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Thomas Amtower and Viola Lee Thomas Amtower; his cousin Robbie Mongold; and his nephew Thomas Trenum. He is survived by: his wife Julie May O'Brien Amtower; his children, Scott Amtower (Kristen) of Martinsburg and Jessica Kelly (Adam) of Martinsburg; his granddaughter Lydia Kelly; and his brother Thomas Edward Amtower (Wendy).
