He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Franklin and Mary Carpenter Franklin; and his brother Michael Franklin. He is survived by: his wife Rebecca; his sons, Gregory, Bradley (Heather) and Jeffrey (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Jocelyn, Serena, Nick, Ihley, Cierra, Blake and Noa; his brother Mitchell (Debra); and his aunts, Elaine Robertson and Frances Carpenter. He is also survived by seven nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, St. Luke's United Methodist Church or to Hospice of the Panhandle.
