She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert DeNeen Long and Annie May Porterfield Long; her son William DeNeen Rickard; and her siblings-in-law, Mary Hope Paige, Jean Lee Davenport, Carl Michael and Glenn Rickard.
She is survived by: her husband James Harrison Rickard; her daughter Sally Unger (Greg) of Berkeley Springs; her granddaughter Jasmine Unger of Berkeley Springs; her sisters, Mary Ethel Michael Rickard of Thurmont, MD and Susanne Horner (Jerry) of Inwood, WV; her brother-in-law Eugene Paige of Martinsburg; and her siblings' children, John Michael (Robin), Scott Michael, Andrew Horner, Mark Horner (Tracy), Laura Horner-Whiting (B. J.), Tyler Paige, Jeannie Gilbert (Gregg), Tina Reifsneider (Chuck), Lisa Guzman (John) and Nicole Crocker (Robert). She is also survived by thirteen great-nieces/nephews.
