He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Boycan and Ruth Marie Dittman Boycan; his former wife Carmella Dent Boycan; his wife Barbara Cairns Boycan; and his brother-in-law Charlie Wright.
He is survived by: his children, Ronald Boycan (Patricia) and Audrey Damato (Sam); his grandchildren, Elizabeth Boycan (Yoji Suzuki), Danielle Damato, Aaron Boycan (Milena) and Gabrielle Damato; and his siblings, Phil Boycan (Patsy), Andree Krause (Peter), Barbara Wright and Vera Thornton (Terry). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
