He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Wimer Sherman; his children, Jonathan M. Sherman (Tracy) and Andrea D. Sherman; his grandchildren, Amelia R. Sherman, Lilibet "Bee" Richards (Michael) and John P. Napoli; his niece Sara Bly Dove; his nephew Bradley Bly; and his daughter Mabel Lou Linton.
