He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy Leonard Hott and Charlotte Ellie Timbrook Hott; his wife Janet Lee Hott (Ross); his son-in-law Richard E. Lucas; and his siblings, Stanly Guy Hott, Paul David Hott, Elizabeth Ella Hott, Helen Josephine Saville, Victor Franklin Hott, Juanita Isabella Wells and Harwell Timbrook Hott.
He is survived by: his daughters, Jennifer Mauzy and Debbie Day; and his stepchildren, Tom Ross, Jr. (Cheryl), Kevin Ross (LeAnne), David Ross (Marie), Daryl Vaden (Phil), Debra Lucas, Kimberly Kercheval (Michael) and Christi Hicks (Jason).
Memorial contributions may be made to Second Baptist Church or Hospice of the Panhandle.
