Shirley Maxine Heiner Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Shirley Maxine Heiner of Martinsburg, West Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 10, 2025 at the age of 88. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbur Everitt and Maxine Everitt; her husband Lewis Dale Heiner of Berkeley Springs, WV; her granddaughter Kristen Lee; and her siblings, Ronnie (Pat), Betty and Richard.
She is survived by: her children, Lydia Ann Coceres (Joe) and Stephen Dale Heiner (Cathy) of Martinsburg, WV; her grandchildren, Jennifer (Mike), Kyle (Sheridan) and Marissa (Drew); her great grandchildren, Tyler, Addison, Kira and Evelyn; her sisters, Milly Potter Hedgesville (Lester) and Judy Lutman (Gene) of Fredericksburg, VA; and her brother-in-law Donnie Whiteside of Warfordsburg, PA.. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home & Cremation Center (95 Union St, Berkeley Springs, WV 25411). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Shirley's memory may be made to the Berkeley County Humane Society, 554 Charles Town Road, Martinsburg, WV 25405.
