He is survived by: his wife Bernice Byrd (Brown); his son Lamont Standberry; his stepchildren, Trulana Jones (Mustafa) and Michael Brown (Rosa); his sisters, Connie Seabron (Tyrone) and Diane Turner; and his sisters-in-law, Velda Glover and Rhoda "Bugsy" Diggs (Michael). He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
