She was predeceased by: her father Albert Thompson; her son Raymond Friend; her mother Hollice Erlewine Thompson of Letart, WV.; the father of her child Albert D. Thompson; her sister Harriet Flo Thompson Sisk; and her brother-in-law Bruce Sisk.
She is survived by: her husband Roy Friend; her sons, Norman Friend and Bruce Friend; her sisters, Jo Turley (Jim) and Jenny Hayman (Mike); her grandchildren, Tyler Roney (Pheobee), Tess Walters (Kenny), Holden Friend, Raven and Rantin Friend; and her great grandchildren, Piper Jade, Tillie, Henry Walters, Waylen Friend and Waverly Hines.
