He is survived by: his wife Patty Lou Roush (Riley); and his children, Vernon Ray Roush Jr. (Gayle) of Gallipolis, OH, Thomas Henry Roush (Jeannie) of Letart, WV and Guyla Rae Walburn (Jeff) of Mason, WV. He is also survived by four grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
