With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Darlene M Baniak of Masontown, West Virginia, who passed away on May 21, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Irvin Leatherman and Myrtle Leatherman of Keyser; her husband Henry Baniak; and her children, Debby Bennear (David) and Jimmy Butler.
She is survived by: her son Carl Butler Jr. (Shannon) of Masontown; her sister Evelyn McCabe (John) of Augusta, WV; her grandchildren, Joshua Butler of Masontown, Tracey Rodeheaver (Jared) of Independence and Courtney Butler of Masontown; and her great grandchildren, Wyatt Butler, Raegan Rodeheaver and Jana Clark. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Field Funeral Home (10537 Veterans Memorial Hwy, Masontown, WV 26542). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
