He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbert Otis Keener and Marion Lillian Keener (Shisler); his wife Juanita "Nanny" Lucille Keener; and his siblings, Joann Rockis, Roberta Corwin, Norma Rohozen, Paul Keener, Darrell Keener and James Keener.
He is survived by: his children, Sherrie Keener (Greg Rice) of Morgantown, Ronald Keener II (Kate) of Core and Mark Keener (Stacey) of McDonald, PA; his grandchildren, Dustin Keener (Rachel), Breanna Rice, Zackary Keener, Alicia Willard (Ben), Trenton Keener, Ethan Keener and Owen Keener; his great grandchildren, Kinsley, Lainey, Rhett and Reese; his sisters, Karen Guminey (Robert) and Shirley Corwin (Ray); his niece Sally Harvey-Deep (Mark); and his great-niece Sophia. He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
