He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Jackson and Mellia Ramey Spence; his siblings, Ronnie "Yankee" Spence, Louis "Jack" Spence, David "Abb" Spence and Diana Spence; and his nieces, Lenna Spence and Glenna Spence.
He is survived by: his wife Jackie Spence of Blackberry City; his daughters, Lisa Spence of Blackberry City and Diana Spence of Belo, WV; his siblings, Donnie Spence of Belo, WV, Clyde Spence of Belo, WV and Patricia Skeens (Gary) of Lick Creek, WV; and his grandchildren, Donnielle Evans, Pamella Francis, Lynna Cantrell, Kiarra Spence, Braelyn Francis, Kaylea Spence, Gatlyn Francis, Kaden Spence and Oliver Lennox. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
