It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Gant of Mathias, West Virginia, born in Osbornsville, New Jersey, who passed away on April 2, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles Gant and Elizabeth Gant (Halmuth). He is survived by : his wife Patricia S. Gant; his children, Elizabeth D. Burkhart of Mathias, WV, Johana G. Gant of Melbourne, John H. Gant of Wardensville, WV and Jesse D. Gant of Mathias, WV; and his sister Janet Roche of Florida. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
