She was predeceased by : her parents, Howard Thomas Rohrbaugh and Nellie Virginia Rohrbaugh (Moyers); her husband Gene D. Smith; and her brothers, Edward Lee Rohrbaugh and Richard Allen Rohrbaugh.

She is survived by : her children, Teresa L. Keplinger of Maysville, WV and Eugene Keplinger of Maysville, WV; her granddaughter Ashley N. Kesner; her great grandchild Evan Skeen; her brothers, Darl Rohrbaugh (Delores) of Maysville, WV, Bobby Rohrbaugh (Rhonda) of Maysville, WV and Roy Rohrbaugh (Audrey) of Maysville, WV; and her sisters-in-law, Hilda Rohrbaugh and Judy Rohrbaugh. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to St Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
