With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan Hawk of Maysville, West Virginia, born in Kitzmiller, Maryland, who passed away on April 10, 2026 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her brothers, Wolford "Bud" Perando, Alden Perando and Dale Perando. She is survived by: her sister Eva Mae Clary (Perando); her husband Bill Hawk; her son William Douglas Hawk (Karen); her grandchild Harley (Allison); her great grandchildren, Bentley, Cheyenne and Scarlett; her grandchild Jessie; her great grandchildren, Brady and Hailey; her grandchild Wynee Elizabeth Hawk; her great grandchild Harrison Hawk; her grandson David Edwin Hawk (Katie); her great grandchildren, Jackson, Henry (Cath) and Madison; her grandson Mark Andrew Hawk (Wendi); her great grandchildren, Kasey and Austin; her granddaughter Christina Madeline Hawk (Juan Carlos González); her great grandchildren, Hannah and Caroline Hicks; and her pet Bill. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
