It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Elizabeth Ann Emery (McMechen, West Virginia), born in Toledo, Ohio, who passed away on June 7, 2025, at the age of 30, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Richard, Donna Ziegler, John and Anna Emery; her aunt Patricia Ward; and her close friend Roger Dale Carroll.
She is survived by: her parents, John Emery and Sharon Emery; her son Zephaniah Emery; her brother John Emery Jr.; and her fiancé Steven Welling. She is also survived by aunts and uncles, and a multitude of cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Altmeyer Funeral Home - Benwood-McMechen Chapel (214 Marshall St, McMechen, WV 26040). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. John's Catholic Church (622 Main St, Benwood, WV 26031). A burial will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Halcyon Hills Memorial Gardens (4987 Fairmont Pike Rd, Wheeling, WV 26003).
