Mark leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Mark’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Mark will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his grandmothers, Carol Walker and Helen Smith; his uncle David Chamberlain; and his aunt Vivian Chamberlain. He is survived by: his parents, Mark Smith (Debbie) and Dawn Walker Lester; his grandfather Johnny Walker; and his siblings, Chandra Callison (Rich), Christina Critchley (Johnny), Cindy Smith and Garrett Smith. He is also survived by other family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Rainelle Chapel (283 Main St, Rainelle, WV 25962). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
