She was predeceased by: her parents, James Leonard and Orpha Gill; her husband Delbert Hanshew; her siblings, Eva Hanshew, Louise Williams, Edward Gill and Paul Judy; and her foster daughter Tammy Patterson.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Hanshew (Gerry) of Millville, WV and Jeanne Harrah (Danny) of Meadow Bridge, WV.; her siblings, Tommy Gill (Kathy) of Great Mills, MD., Frieda Black, Carolyn Adkins of Ft. Myers, FL. and Gaye Avery (Jim) of Millington, TN.; her sisters-in-law, Myrtle Gill of Mullins, SC. and Eva Judy of Crescent City, CA.; and her grandchildren, Heather Lea (Jacob) of Duncan, SC., Derek Harrah (Rachel) of Aviano, Justin Patterson (Kristen) of Falling Springs, VA., Jordon Patterson (Jamie) of Frankford, WV., Kerri Williams (Shawn) of Smith Mt and Kaylee Avila of Lancaster, SC.. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family.
