She was predeceased by: her parents, Basil Akers Walker and Beatrice Bessie Fox Walker; her husband Claude Max Wingerd; her close friend Eugene Parker; her siblings, Carol, Genevieve, Juanita Boyd, Harold and Denver; and her brothers-in-law, Allen Walker, Darwin Major and Bob Raines.
She is survived by: her son Dean Wingerd (Melinda) of Meadow Bridge; her sisters, Brenda Vallandingham (Glenn) of Hinton, Elizabeth Raines of Grafton and Peggy Major of Harrison, Michigan; and her grandchildren, Hayley Holsinger and Zachary Wingerd.
