He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin R. Swiger and Sarah S. Swiger (Cox); his brother Franklin R. Swiger, Jr.; his aunts, Naomi Smith and Christine Weekley; his brother-in-law Gary Sines; his grandmother Naomi Swiger; and his nephew Johnathan Swiger.
He is survived by: his siblings, James Swiger (Noi) of Yuma, AZ, Theresa A. Sines of Middlebourne, WV and Lisa Ball (Mark) of West Union, WV; his aunts and uncles, Cleo Horton (Bob), Carrie Moore (Forest), Mary Weber, Larry Swiger (Patty) and Eva Hendricks; his niece Carly Ball; his nephews, Eleazar Burgess, Uriah Burgess, Josiah Burgess, Thomas Swiger, Austin Nicholson and Tyler Nicholson; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Emma, Ellianah, Rylei, Laylah, Amalia, Alexis, Jennifer, Waylon, Aidan, Elias, Graeyson and Tyler. He is also survived by several other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
