With sadness, we share the passing of Phyllis Ann Hickman of Middlebourne, West Virginia. Phyllis Ann, born on October 16, 1938, passed away on August 4, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman D. Owens and Goldie B. Owens (McCune); her children, James Hickman and Barbara Stokes; her grandson Eric Barbiaux; and her siblings, Delbert Owens, Kenneth Owens, Kahle Owens, Donnie Owens, Viola Ferguson and Betty Owens.

She is survived by: her husband James C. Hickman; her children, Oliver Hickman (Elizabeth) of Tacoma, WA and Sherry Barbiaux (David) of Lower Burrel, PA; her son-in-law Britt Stokes of Sistersville, WV; her grandchildren, Ashely Henning, Lilliana Hickman, Vicki Cuic, Debra Hickman Serrao, Amanda Greene, Jason Stokes, Zachary Stokes, Anthony Hickman, Tylor Christensen and Jesse Barbiaux; and her siblings, Earl Owens, Tom Owens (Linda) and Judy Smith. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
