The passing of Wanda Jean Tennant of Middlebourne, West Virginia leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on October 15, 2025 at the age of 77. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl C. Weekley and Nora Weekley (Wells); her husband James D. Tennant; her daughter Patricia Ann Tennant; and her siblings, Keith Weekley, Cleston Weekley, James Weekley, Walter Weekley, Clifford Weekley and Bernice Carol.
She is survived by: her children, James "Jimmy" Tennant of Shirley and Martha Hayes (Chris) of Middlebourne, WV; her grandchildren, George Tennant (Lindsay), Conner Tennant, Cara Tennant, Skyler Hayes (Hope), Peyton Hayes, Parker Hayes and Pierson Hayes; her great grandchildren, Carter Tennant, Campbell Tennant and Charlie Tennant; and her sister Hilda Culton (Richard) of California. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Furbee Williams Funeral Home - Alma (7908 Middle Is Rd, Alma, WV 26320). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 at the Beechwood Cemetery.
