It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles D. Helvey of Midway, West Virginia, who passed away on February 12, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his significant other Ella L. Helvey; his children, Varney Helvey (Maxine), Allen Helvey, Penny Lilly (Kevin) and Kevin Helvey (Michelle); his grandchildren, April, Miranda, Kristen, Brittany, Nick, Max, Brandon and Alex; his sister Iris Eller; and his sister-in-law Dreama Donahue (Cathy Barr). He is also survived by his thirteen great grandchildren.
