She is survived by: her husband John Proffitt; her children, Alan Proffitt (Melinda K.) and Melinda Stoots (Richard); her grandchildren, Tara Wells (Mark), Jason Proffitt and Katie Hightower; and her great grandchildren, Caleb, Hannah, Joshua, Gabriel, Rachel, Kayleigh, Luke, Jessalyn Wells and Madelyn Clemons.
