She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Coalson and Blanche Hedrick Coalson; her husband Robert Gillispie; her children, Robert D. Gillispie and Patricia Smith; and her siblings, Jean Blankenship of Beckley, Rita Blakely of North East, Faye Rhudy (George) of Arizona, Pamela Margargle of Dunns, Roger Coalson (Karen) of Beckley, Robert Coalson (Karen) of Beckley, Teresa Henry of Kentucky and Mickey Coalson of Shady Spring.
She is survived by: her sibling Those; her children, Debbie Snuffer (Dale) of Crab Orchard, Connie Wood (Alan "Doc") of Midway and David Gillispie (Barbara) of Midway; and her sisters-in-law, Gloria Payne of Georgia and Ruth Morgan of Ohio. She is also survived by sixteen brothers and sisters.
