He was predeceased by: his parents, Ferrell Kennedy and Hazel Kennedy (James); and his siblings, Kenneth Kennedy, Nora White, Colleen Cox, Patty Weese and Nina Hagy.
He is survived by: his wife Alice Joann Kennedy (Moss); his son Larry R. Kennedy (Marlena) of Mt. Claire, WV; and his grandsons, Kelvin and Morgan Kennedy of England. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and many other wonderful family and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Ellyson Mortuary, Inc. (2 Vanhorn Dr, Glenville, WV 26351). A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 at the Wvu United Hospital Center (327 Medical Park Dr, Bridgeport, WV 26330).
