He is survived by: his wife Betty Phillips (Pudder); his sister Kay Morehead of Millwood; his brother-in-law Jack McCullough of Millwood; his children, Craig Phillips of Millwood and Jackie Mullen of Millwood; his grandchildren, Ryan Mullen (Felicia) of Palestine, Hunter Phillips of Ripley and Ethan Mullen of Sandyville; his great grandchildren, Abilene Mullen, Aden, Liam and Dean Phillips; and his nephews, Gilbert Morehead of Mogadore, OH, Jeffrey Morehead of Washington, DC and Richard McCullough of Clarksburg.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Casto Funeral Home - Ravenswood (802 Washington St, Ravenswood, WV 26164). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 3:30 PM at the Mount Olive Cemetery.
