He is survived by: his wife Violet Earnestine Miller of Milton; his children, Rene', Gary Wingate, Todd, Katrine Miller, Deanna and Randi Lawson; his grandchildren, Matthew, Kelsey Wingate, Sidney, Tristan Lomano, Olivia Miller, Audrey Miller, Russell Lawson, Hank Lawson and Katie Lawson; his great grandchild James Matthew Wingate; and his siblings, Joyce Morgan (Arble) and Denny Miller (Valerie).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Fanning Funeral Home (4299 Coal Heritage Rd, Iaeger, WV 24844). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
