It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Harvey Leonard Hornish of Mineral Wells, West Virginia, who passed away on December 12, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry D. Hornish and Goldie M. Dotson Hornish. He is survived by: his wife Diane; his children, Bill Hornish (Marisa) of Wake Forest, NC, Shawn Bowles (Amy) of Barboursville, WV. and Kendra Huff of Milton, WV; his grandchildren, Riley, Tyler, Jacob, Connor, Marshall, Brieanna, Alec and Willie; and his great grandchildren, Jade, Lincoln, Wyatt and Jackson.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at 1825 Park Ave, Parkersburg, WV 26101.
In lieu of flowers, family requests memorial contributions be given to the food pantry at the Journey on Park Avenue.
