He was predeceased by : his parents, William Stephens and Edna Parsons Stephens; and his sister Jane Hale. He is survived by : his significant other Cheryl L. Stephens; his children, Terri Smith (Russell) of Mineral Wells, WV, Mary Hamrick (Allen) of Largo, FL and John Stephens (Chasity) of Elizabeth, WV; his grandchildren, William Smith (Kristyn), Joseph Smith, Jessica Hamrick (Connor Scott) of John Tyler, Kylie Drake (Nathan) and Addison Stephens; and his great grandchildren, Gianna Scott and Jensyn Drake. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
