He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Knopp (Jim) and Laurada Parsons Knopp; and his brothers, Gary, Gene, Lionel and Terry Knopp.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Perkins Knopp; his children, Jeanette Zaiser, Wonda Hershman (Mike), Vonda Knopp (Tim Hayes), Leon Knopp (Cindy), April Sams (Mark), Ben Knopp (Angie) and Floyd Keener; his siblings, Danny Knopp (Judy) and Paula Righter (Jim); and his sisters-in-law, Cherie Knopp and Val Knopp. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Lambert Tatman Funeral Home (2333 Pike St, Parkersburg, WV 26101). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
